In recent e-cigarette news, China’s General Administration of Customs released China’s e-cigarette export data for October 2024. Data shows that China’s e-cigarette exports in October 2024 were approximately US$888 million, an increase of 2.43% over the same period last year. In addition, exports increased by 3.89% compared with the previous month. The top ten destinations for China's e-cigarette exports in October include the United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Germany, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia and Canada.
Over 100,000 EU citizens signed a petition against the EU's crackdown on e-cigarettes. The World Vaping Alliance (WVA) submitted more than 100,000 signatures to the European Parliament, calling on the EU to completely change its attitude towards e-cigarettes and harm reduction. Because to date, the EU is still considering measures such as banning flavorings, restricting nicotine bags, banning outdoor e-cigarette smoking, and increasing taxes on low-risk products.
